Long Story Short...

Jamie Hollins was born and raised in rural Northeast Ohio. After graduate school, she embarked on a perilous career in Human Resources where she met plenty of real life characters. When she’s not writing or chasing after her toddler, she enjoys reading and golfing. Jamie lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, son, and their dog, Winston.

Q. Name three things on your bucket list: A) I’d love to go to Rome, see the Northern Lights, and stay in a castle hotel in Ireland or Scotland.

Q. Favorite color: A) Navy blue.

Q. What is one thing you don’t leave the house without? A) Either my eReader or the paperback that I’m reading at the time. I actually switch purses to accommodate the book’s size.

Q. What was the last book you read? A) Scandalous by L.J. Shen.

Q. Favorite food: A) Chicken fingers with honey mustard and a side of French fries.

Q. What’s your favorite quote? A) Life’s too short. Don’t waste a second of it.

Q. Favorite music: A) Anything by U2, Muse, or Sir Elton John.

Q. Something that never fails to make you feel better? A) Coffee. Specifically a white chocolate mocha with skim milk and one sugar.

Q. What gets under your skin the most? A) My biggest pet peeve is laziness.

Q. Three things people don’t know about you? A) I can’t sleep without socks on, I have a pacemaker, and I enjoy playing World of Warcraft with my husband!

Q. Favorite Movie: A) National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. We watch it every year on Christmas Eve.

Q. What are your hobbies? A) Reading, cooking, traveling, golfing, and watching sports, especially football and golf.

Q. Three things you’d have to have on a deserted island? A) Sunscreen (assuming it’s a sunny deserted island), books, & chicken fingers with honey mustard.

Q. What three things do you aspire to do one day? A) Play the piano, speak a second language, & fit into the same jeans I wore in high school.

Q. Favorite vacation spot: A) Folly Beach near Charleston, SC. I have to admit I don’t like the beach (probably because I have to bathe in sunscreen if I’m going to be on the beach for more than fifteen minutes), but I love the vibe of Folly Beach.
